Dr Veronica Johnston (She/Her)

MANAGING DIRECTOR

Veronica holds dual qualifications as a clinical psychologist and registered teacher. She has over 15 years experience working with children and adolescents, providing emotional, educational, and behavioural support to her clients as well as their family and schools. Veronica also has a passion for women's mental health and works with many adults experiencing mental health difficulties.

Dr Nicole Sloan (She/Her)

PRINCIPAL PSYCHOLOGIST

Nicole is a clinical psychologist who completed her Doctor of Psychology at Deakin University. Alongside her training as a psychologist, Nicole is also a qualified psychiatric nurse with over ten years of experience working in forensic psychiatry. During this time, she supported adults with serious mental illnesses and complex needs, gaining a deep understanding of the challenges faced in this area.

While Nicole has a broad foundation of knowledge, including an interest in the intersection of mental and physical health, her primary focus lies in the trauma space. She is passionate about helping individuals navigate the impact of trauma on their lives and has undertaken advanced training in evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), among others. Nicole is committed to providing compassionate, effective care tailored to the unique needs of each person she works with.

Isabelle Gardiner (She/Her)

CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST

Isabelle is a clinical psychologist with several years experience working in a range of public and community health settings. She provides evidence-based therapeutic approaches to support adults of all ages who are experiencing mental health concerns. Isabelle has a passion for improving the mental health of older adults and working with individuals to manage their physical health concerns.

Katherine Ritchens

CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST

Katherine is a registered Clinical Psychologist and Board Approved Supervisor under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). She has over 12 years of experience of working in a range of public and private health settings. Katherine has a warm and compassionate nature, and she is committed to providing a person-centred approach for her clients. Katherine utilizes evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as CBT, ACT, Schema Therapy, EMDR and Motivational interviewing to support adults who are experiencing mental health concerns. She has a particular interest in supporting those with co-morbid physical and psychological health concerns.

Claire Foster

PSYCHOLOGIST

Claire is passionate about working with LGBTIQA+ clients. She has many years of experience working with the LGBTIQA+ community, both as a peer and as a clinician, and she can complete WPATH assessments for transgender adults seeking medical gender-affirming care. More broadly, Claire enjoys working with people from all backgrounds, including culturally diverse and neurodivergent individuals, and uses a neurodiversity-affirming approach in her work.

Claire is authentic, warm, and friendly person who values the positive outcomes that come from establishing a safe, collaborative, and non-judgemental therapeutic relationship. She likes to work from a strengths-based approach where she gets to know each individual and works in a way that best suits them. She works with adults and adolescents aged 14+.

Claire works with a wide range of mental health presentations, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, interpersonal and relationship concerns, body image and eating concerns, and OCD. She also works with trauma and is trained in eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR).

Franklin (She/Her)

PSYCHOLOGIST

Camilla is a registered psychologist with extensive experience working in the public mental health sector in addition to private practice. Her understanding of a broad range of evidence-based therapies allow her to provide unique and individualised treatment for each person aimed at reaching their identified goals. Camilla believes a vital part of effective treatment is building a strong therapeutic relationship which emphasises a sense of safety and trust. This foundation enables you to look curiously and non-judgmentally at challenging thoughts, emotions, behaviours and experiences. Camilla has confidence in an individual’s capacity to recover from mental and emotional pain and therefore has an abundance of hope and belief in the work you will do together.

Siahn Duxson (She/Her)

PSYCHOLOGIST

Siahn is a psychologist holding a Masters of Professional Psychology. Siahn has experience working with diverse populations in a crisis support role and practises in a client-focused, non-judgemental and collaborative nature. She uses evidence-based interventions and therapies to work compassionately alongside clients to support and empower them to reach their personal goals.

Brayden McLeod (He/Him)

PSYCHOLOGIST

Brayden is a registered psychologist with experience working with clients in private clinics, schools, and forensic settings. Brayden provides evidence-based therapeutic interventions to assist adolescents and adults who are experiencing mental health concerns, in a manner that is empathic and supportive. Bernie Rogerson (She/Her)

CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST

Bernie is a registered psychologist with qualifications in business, forensic mental health, and clinical psychology. She has worked across various workplaces including forensic settings, public and private mental health services. Bernie works across all ages and from a strength-based approach with compassionate and empathy towards recovery orientated practice. Bernie draws from various evidence-based interventions including CBT, ACT, motivational interviewing, dialectical behaviour therapy, attachment-based family therapy, schema therapy and mindfulness.

Disha Sasan (She/Her)

PSYCHOLOGIST

Disha is a registered psychologist who has experience and a passion for working with neurodivergent and neurotypical children under the age of 12 who may be struggling with a range of mental health concerns including, but not limited to, social, emotional, and behavioural challenges. She uses a holistic approach in her work, ensuring that support is provided to families and schools as well. Disha also runs social and emotional learning groups with children between 6 and 11, using play-based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Therapy. Additionally, she has experience working with adults experiencing a variety of mental health concerns. 

Disha endeavours to provide an empathetic, individualised, evidence-based and client-centred approach to those experiencing mental health concerns. She has experience conducting cognitive and educational assessments.

Mandeep Kour

PSYCHOLOGIST

Mandeep, a registered psychologist, brings a wealth of experience from her work in both forensic and community settings. Her expertise encompasses clients facing complex challenges, including those with dual diagnoses of mental health and substance use issues, as well as other high-risk complexities.

In addition to her work with adults, Mandeep provides therapy for children, including those with neurodevelopmental disorders. She addresses challenges such as anxiety, school refusal, behavioral issues, emotional regulation difficulties, developmental trauma, and family or relationship issues.

Adam Stefano

PSYCHOLOGIST

Adam is a warm and engaging, person-centred psychologist, who uses evidence-based therapies such as Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Solution Focussed Therapy. Adam has a particular interest working with couples and individuals to assist working towards better life outcomes. Adam has experience with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship counselling and addiction - including gambling.

Leon Martin

ACCREDITED MENTAL HEALTH OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

Leon is an Accredited Mental Health Occupational Therapist who holds a Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy. He has worked in the mental health field for a decade in a wide variety of settings including triage, high acuity, community mental health, child and adolescent mental health, and offshore detention. His work has taken him across remote rural/regional areas, regional hubs and in major capital cities. Leon adopts a collaborative approach working with clients to help shape the sessions and allowing them space to create and refine their own goals for therapy. Leon draws from various therapeutic modalities including cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), emotionally focused therapies (EFIT), solution focused brief therapy (SFBT), motivational interviewing and mindfulness. Leon is passionate about improving mental health outcomes and changing the stigma around asking for help for young men and males, especially those in non metro areas with less access to mental health services. Leon's goal is to help clients overcome barriers in order to achieve their full potential.

Jacinta Robison

PSYCHOLOGIST

Jacinta is a provisional psychologist with a Master of Professional Psychology, dedicated to supporting children, adolescents and adults in navigating life's challenges. With a compassionate and kind approach, Jacinta fosters a safe and welcoming space for her clients. 
Drawing from a diverse range of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness, Jacinta tailors her interventions to meet the unique needs of each individual. Her goal is to empower clients with the tools and insights necessary to cultivate well-being.

Elle Vilic

SOCIAL WORKER

Elle holds dual qualifications as a Social Worker and Counsellor. She is passionate about providing a safe space where clients can explore any concerns freely and without judgement.  Elle has experience working across many settings such as, Child Protection, Hospital, Education, Family Violence NGO, Employee Assist Counselling (EAP), Couples Counselling and private practice. She has spent time volunteering in Palliative Care and believes it a privilege and an honour to spend time with people in this space.  

Elle works alongside clients to help and support them in re-discovering and un-covering courage, inner resources, and strengths. This allows Elle’s clients to work through what is troubling them and getting in the way of their joy and happiness. She understands everyone’s life circumstances are unique and aims to help her clients achieve meaningful and lasting changes. This may at times seem unattainable, but absolutely possible with the right help and support.  

Elle utilises a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches and is trained in Emotion-Focused Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR). She would like to help adolescents and adults explore their mental health concerns.

Abbey Sawyer

PSYCHOLOGIST & SEXOLOGIST

Abbey is a Registered Psychologist and Sexologist. She holds a Master of Science in Medicine degree, specialising in psychosexual therapy, and has completed Bachelor degrees in Psychological Science and Criminology, alongside a Postgraduate degree in Psychology. Abbey is passionate about the interlink between psychological health and sexuality, and enjoys supporting people of all ages, genders, and cultural backgrounds to enrich their sexual lives and improve their mental health. She has a particular clinical interest in sexual OCD and supporting men with ejaculatory dysfunction and sexual anxiety. Abbey also enjoys working with parents to provide age appropriate sex education and supporting young autistic people with concerning sexualised behaviours.

Abbey utilises an evidence based, eclectic and client-centred approach to therapy. Abbey’s gentle and non-judgemental nature enables her clients to feel safe and respected; she believes that the therapeutic relationship between a therapist and client is key to success. Abbey strives to ensure that her therapeutic approach compliments the individuality of her clients background and circumstances; her treatment is informed by therapeutic modalities such as psychodynamic therapy, internal family systems, CBT, schema therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), exposure and response prevention (ERP) and Gottman Method couples interventions.

Abbey works across the lifespan seeing both adults and children, she specialises in providing psychosexual therapy for individuals and couples experiencing a range of sexual health concerns, including pelvic pain, libido concerns, sexual dysfunction, and sexual aversion disorders. Abbey also provides treatment & support for anxiety disorders, OCD, depression, neurodivergence, Borderline Personality Disorder and self esteem & body image concerns.

Jess Elliott

PSYCHOLOGIST

Jess is a Provisional Psychologist with experience in addressing a wide range of issues. She works with children who are dealing with challenges such as anxiety, school refusal, behavioral issues, emotional regulation difficulties, developmental trauma, and family/relationship issues.

In addition to her work with children, Jess also provides therapy for adults facing issues like anxiety, depression, life transitions, trauma, interpersonal difficulties, and general mental health concerns.

Jess is deeply committed to empowering young individuals and their families, facilitating the attainment of their highest emotional, mental, social, and educational aspirations.

Grace Leaming

PSYCHOLOGIST

Grace is a registered psychologist holding a Master of Professional Psychology and currently completing a Master of Clinical Psychology. She conducts Autism, ADHD, cognitive, educational, and functional assessments with individuals across the lifespan. Grace also engages in evidence-based intervention, which best supports and empowers individuals to meet their goals. She is passionate about supporting young people with different neuro-types to thrive in their environment. Grace has significant experience working with neurodivergent individuals and caregivers in different settings, including private practice, education, and the community. She strives to have a neuro-affirming and client-centred practice that builds individuals up, focusing on strengths and differences perspective. Grace also has experienced working with young people identifying as LGBTQIA+.

Nida Zahra

PROVISIONAL PSYCHOLOGIST

Nida is a provisional psychologist who specialises in working with children, adolescents, adults and their families. She has completed a Bachelor & Honours of science in Psychology. She has completed online training in Play therapy course and is currently registered in 4+2 internship pathway with AHPRA working towards general registration. Nida has worked with clients in private clinics, schools, childcare settings, as well as the community at large. Nida provides evidence-based therapeutic interventions to assist children, adolescents and adults who are experiencing mental health concerns, in a manner that is empathic and supportive.

Tayla is a highly skilled registered psychologist with a warm, engaging, and compassionate approach to her work. She brings extensive experience from various settings, including schools, community-based organisations and private practice.

Specialising in working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families, Tayla integrates techniques from Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy, Play Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy. Kelly is a registered psychologist who brings considerable life and professional experience- most notably working with victim/survivors of violent crime and bereaved clients within a range of settings. She is a passionate ally of the LGBTQIA+ community- supporting people and family members and also working to increase their voices and visibility within the broader community.

She works through curiosity and compassion with a warm, engaging style. She recognises that to be human is to experience a full range of emotions and unique intrapersonal conditions.

Seated in Acceptance and Mindful techniques, she incorporates various evidence based interventions such as CBT and EMDR as she walks alongside people, holding gentile space for exploration, understanding and growth.

Chelsea is a provisional psychologist with experience supporting clients across a wide age range, from primary school-aged children to mature adults. She is adaptable and culturally sensitive, ensuring her approach is tailored to meet the diverse needs and presentations of her clients.

Chelsea specialises in working with children experiencing challenges such as emotional regulation difficulties, anxiety, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), family relationship issues, and trauma. Additionally, she supports adults navigating concerns like anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and interpersonal difficulties.

PSYCHIATRIST

Barbara Malmgreen is a compassionate and experienced psychiatrist dedicated to supporting adults through life’s most challenging moments. Offering care exclusively via Telehealth, Barbara provides flexible, accessible mental health support tailored to each client’s unique journey.

With a deep understanding of the human experience, Barbara specialises in treating anxiety, mood disorders, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Her approach is grounded in psychodynamic therapy, which explores how early life experiences and unconscious patterns shape emotional well-being today. This insight-based work empowers clients to make meaningful and lasting change.

Barbara works exclusively with adults, conducting both initial assessments and ongoing medication reviews. She creates a safe space for clients and believes in a collaborative therapeutic relationship, where healing is not only possible but deeply personal.

Unfortunately at this time, Barbara does not conduct ADHD or Autism Assessments.

SENIOR OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

Gemma is an AHPRA registered Occupational Therapist who has extensive experience working across the lifespan, with particular interest in paediatrics. She specialises in working with children who have neurodevelopmental conditions such as autism and ADHD and also those who have vision impairments. Gemma is a friendly, engaging, person/family-centred Occupational Therapist, who values the participation in meaningful occupations for children.

Cheryl has over nine years of experience in allied health administration and her dedication definitely shines through. She takes immense pride in delivering warm, welcoming, and empathetic support customised to meet each client's unique needs.

Cheryl also provides support to our Practice Manager.
